Job Description:
Mollen Immunization Clinics is seeking Medical Insurance/Billing Specialists for full-time hourly temporary to permanent positions.
Job Duties include:
- Performing high volume data entry of medical insurance and medical billing information
- Responsible for accurate and timely billing of electronic and hardcopy medical insurance claims
- Review consent forms to verify proper reimbursement and to make adjustments as necessary
- Verifies correct Third Party coding to ensure prompt payment
- Work directly with customers and clients to resolve billing and/or payment issues
Job Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- 1-2 years of medical insurance or medical billing experience is preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills a must
- Confident in dealing with people, great social skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment required
- Requires excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Professional telephone skills and good listening skills (essential)
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Explorer, Outlook, Excel, and Word) required
- Must be able to type at least 35-40 WPM
Physical Environment
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
